RE: 2010 ‘ Keeping the Young Brain at Heart’ FKC Convention
The FKC Convention Program Committee is excited to invite you to participate in the upcoming 2010 Convention, Keeping the Young Brain at Heart, to be held October 23rd at the Sonesta Hotel Downtown Orlando.
The Committee is seeking innovative workshop proposals geared specifically to early childhood (preschool through grade 3) development and with an emphasis on ‘Keeping the Young Brain at Heart’. We are thrilled to have as this year’s luncheon keynote speaker, Marilee Sprenger, who has authored books and serves as a national speaker on the topic of brain research.
Join us and share your creative ideas and passion for teaching children as they keep their students’ young brains at heart! Presentations should be forty-five minutes in length and presenters should plan to bring ample handouts (50) for their session and all needed technology equipment. If the presenter emails his or her electronic version of handouts and/or presentation by October 10th, it (they) will be included on and posted to the FKC website.
