To set up and maintain exemplary educational and ethical standards for the membership To encourage other independent preprimary schools in Florida to maintain standards at least equal to our minimum standards and to become members of our organization
To promulgate and promote legislation for the protection of school patrons and for the elevation of standards throughout the independent preprimary schools To promote legislation favorable to independent schools To create and maintain professional and cooperative relations between our members and all other educational institutions To accredit early childhood schools which meet the published standards of the Florida Kindergarten Council
